Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania makes with their new big bad, MODOK! (superhero film news).

There is a new powerful enemy in town; step aside, Thanos!

In recently revealed Funko memorabilia for the next movie, Marvel fans have gotten their first real glimpse at Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania villain MODOK. This is the first time viewers have had the chance to see the character, whose name stands for Mobile Organism Designed Only for Killing, in all his mechanical splendour (sounds friendly). The creature’s inclusion in the movie was initially announced during SDCC.

The majority of MODOK’s appearance is true to the comics, down to the pink stone in his forehead and his purple limbs. But in comic books, his face is often exposed, but in the MCU, he looks to be wearing a steel mask. He looks furious with his flaming eyes and bared fangs, and his chair is flying on a jet of air.

Kang the Conqueror, who is slated to replace Thanos as the main antagonist of the MCU, is also given another look in the goods. Additionally, Scott Lang and Hope van Dyne in their costumes may be seen by fans.

At Brazil Comic-Con, fresh Quantumania video was also shown, providing fans a preview of what’s to come. According to reports, the video depicts Scott and his daughter Cassie in segregated cells inside a jail, with Kang purportedly pleading with Scott to commit a crime in return for their release. Kang is rather upset when Scott responds negatively. Hey, that’s just his contrarian nature, man.

The Quantumania cast consists of Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet Van Dyne, Evangeline Lilly as Hope/the Wasp, Michael Douglas as Hank Pym, and Paul Rudd as Ant-Man.

Said movie is scheduled to premiere on February 17th, 2023, so you are going to have to wait a little longer, folks.

Ah, another chance to build your growing Funko collection, then?
