King Louis XIV catches a mermaid with the intention of taking her life energy in his quest for immortality.

This is the flick based on Vonda N. McIntyre’s book The Moon and the Sun, published in 1997. King Louis XIV is played by Pierce Brosnan, Marie-Josèphe is played by Kaya Scodelario, and Yves De La Croix is played by Benjamin Walker.
