February 7th 2015 sees Steam Garden 8, the Tokyo Steampunk Festival, arrive at Tokyo’s Laforet Museum Harajuku. You want to see how they do steampunk down Japan-way? Sure you do.

Apparently, in Tokyo, a very popular steampunk fashion is the historical “wa-yo-setyuu” style of mixing kimono with western accessories such as hats and boots.
