Marvel’s What If? (TV series: trailer).

Here’s the trailer for the Disney Plus television series, animated, based on the classic Marvel’s What If? strips.

For those of you too young to enjoy these marvellous pieces of dead tree, they were Stan Lee’s method of letting off steam by imagining crazy alternative reality versions of their classic strips and heroes.

They were one-offs where the writers could kill their main characters, re-imagine villains as heroes, and generally have some prime parallel reality monkey business set in the Marvel universe.
