A very nice short science fiction film, Archetype, directed by Aaron Sims, which looks a little like RoboCop signs-up for .Mil. A lot better looking and scripted than the usual fare, including pro actors such as Robert Joy (CSI:NY) and David Anders (Heroes, 24). So much so, it’s been picked up by Fox for full movie-dom. Wow. Looks like a goodie.

Here’s the blurb…

RL7 is an eight-foot tall combat robot that goes on the run after malfunctioning with vivid memories of once being human. As its creators and the military close in, RL7 battles its way to uncovering the shocking truth behind its mysterious visions and past.

Thanks to SFsignal for spotting this’un.

Don't diss the battle-bot.
