Carnival Row (trailer: new Amazon Prime steampunk series).
Amazon Prime are bringing us a new series on the 30th August 2019 called Carnival Row, set in a steampunk Victorian London. This one stars actors Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne, in a parallel reality where the Victorian world coexists with immigrant creatures of myth.
Feared by 19th century humanity, the fantasy creature are repressed and resented, while a human detective (Orlando) and a faerie (Cara) rekindle their dangerous cross-species love affair.
Then London’s peace is shattered when a string of horrific murders foretells the presence of a monster nobody could imagine.
