The protagonist of Warrior Nun is a 19-year-old girl who gets a second chance at life thanks to a heavenly item implanted in her back after waking up in a mortuary. She learns she has been inducted into the ancient Order of the Cruciform Sword, whose mission it is to battle demons on Earth, and that powers from both heaven and hell are actively searching for and attempting to exert influence over her.
