The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live – the evolution of survival in a Walker-infested world (trailer).

Welcome to the latest installment of the The Walking Dead saga, The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live. It’s like the producers sat down and thought, “What can we do next? Ah yes, let’s bring back some fan favorites and see if they can survive… again!” Set in a world where your neighbor is just as likely to eat your plants as they are to eat you, this show promises to be a delightful romp through the post-apocalyptic playground we’ve all come to know and love.

Leading the pack is Andrew Lincoln, reprising his role as Rick Grimes, the man so tough he was presumed dead but actually wasn’t. He’s like that one friend who disappears from the party without saying goodbye, only to turn up years later with incredible stories.

Then there’s Danai Gurira as Michonne, the katana-wielding warrior who’s basically the poster child for “don’t mess with me” vibes. She left the group to search for Rick, which is either super romantic or a really intense game of hide and seek.

And let’s not forget Pollyanna McIntosh as Jadis Stokes/Anne, who seems to have as many aliases as she does survival skills. She’s the warrant officer of the CRM and, like Rick, also has a flair for dramatic exits. Joining the fun are Lesley-Ann Brandt as Pearl Thorne and Terry O’Quinn as Major General Beale, because what’s a post-apocalyptic series without some intriguing new characters? And let’s not overlook Matthew August Jeffers as Nat – we’re not sure what he’s up to yet, but in this world, it’s bound to be interesting.

Set to premiere on February 25, 2024, The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live promises all the zombie action you can stomach, with a side of “Wait, didn’t that character die two seasons ago?”
