The Sandman is a new dark fantasy DC Comics TV series on Netflix, based on the comicbooks created by Neil Gaiman.
When we shut our eyes and sleep, we enter a another realm called the Dreaming, where The Sandman, Master of Dreams (actor Tom Sturridge) gives form to all of our greatest fears and dreams.
But when Dream is kidnapped and kept captive for a century, his absence sets in motion a chain of events that will permanently alter both the dreaming and waking worlds.
Dream must travel across realms and timelines to right the wrongs he’s caused throughout his enormous life, reuniting with old friends and rivals and encountering new cosmic and human beings along the way.
