Telepathic robot bunny ears.

Here’s an interesting concept. Telepathic robot bunny ears, from Japan (of course), where sporting a pair of ‘Necomimi‘ ears – a headset with bunny ears that move according to the user’s feelings and emotions in real time – is frankly becoming de rigueur.

Three emotional states create bunny-like reactive movements that show how interested or relaxed the user is. When something catches the user’s attention, the ears perk up. When the wearer is relaxed, the ears droop down. When both highly focused and relaxed, or “in the zone,” the ears will wiggle.

Necomimi ears.
Wiggle for me. The ears. Not the girls.

Now, I should point out that these are marketed as cat ears, but as any phool know, they are clearly bunny ears!

Got to get a pair of these babies next time I’m in comic-con. Oh, how the Slave Leia(s) will fawn over me!
