Swap zombies for ghosts in the film (or books) from World War Z and you have the elevator pitch of the new TV series coming up from Netflix, Spectral. Maybe stir in a little Ghostbusters, too.

The official pitch PR release, more prosaically describes Spectral as “When an otherworldly force wreaks havoc on a war-torn European city, an engineer teams up with an elite Special Ops unit to stop it.”
