It’s sad but true, Japan’s massive computer game arcades are dying. Arcades in Japan are known as ‘Game Centers,’ and they are rapidly vanishing.
Numerous Japanese gaming centres and arcades have closed in the last year or so, including two of Japan’s most illustrious SEGA arcades: the Akihabara SEGA and the Ikebukuro SEGA Gigo.
