Sad news just in, Harry Potter‘s Narcissa, actress Helen McCrory & wife of fellow actor Damian Lewis, has passed away of cancer aged just 52.
In the Harry Potter movies, Helen played the mother of Draco, Narcissa Malfoy. She also appeared in many other genre TV series and films, including Doctor Who, Skyfall, and Penny Dreadful.
Her husband Damian said on Twitter, “I’m heartbroken to announced that after an heroic battle with cancer, the beautiful and mighty woman that is Helen McCrory has died peacefully at home, surrounded by a wave of love from friends and family. She died as she lived. Fearlessly. God, we love her and know how lucky we are to have had her in our lives. She blazed so brightly. Go now, Little One, into the air, and thank you.”
She leaves behind her husband, daughter Manon, and son Gulliver.
