Dune (scifi movie: final trailer).
Here’s the very last trailer for Denis Villeneuve (of Arrival, and Blade Runner 2049 fame)’s Dune, the big-screen version of Frank Herbert’s iconic book of the same name, for Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures.
Dune is a hero’s journey that recounts the tale of Paul Atreides, a bright and gifted young man born into a tremendous destiny beyond his comprehension who must go to the universe’s most hazardous planet to secure the future of his family and people. Only those who can overcome their fear will live as evil powers clash for the planet’s sole supply of the most valuable resource in existence—a commodity capable of unleashing humanity’s ultimate potential.
Villeneuve directed Dune from a script he co-wrote with Jon Spaihts and Eric Roth, which was based on Frank Herbert’s book of the same name. With Mary Parent, Cale Boyter, and Joe Caracciolo, Jr., Villeneuve co-produced the picture. Tanya Lapointe, Joshua Grode, Herbert W. Gains, Jon Spaihts, Thomas Tull, Brian Herbert, Byron Merritt, and Kim Herbert serve as executive producers.
