Ed and Jim bring us a look at Batman: the Norm Breyfogle and Michel Fiffe years of brilliance.

Together with writer Alan Grant, Norm Breyfogle created Detective Comics. In their first collaborative Batman tale, they debuted the Ventriloquist, and in their third, they debuted the Ratcatcher.

Norm Breyfogle pencilled Batman stories for six years (1987–1993), first on Detective Comics (where he introduced Tim Drake as the new Robin) and later on Batman (where he and Alan Grant introduced new characters Jeremiah Arkham, Mr. Zsasz, and Amygdala in Batman: Shadow of the Bat).

Michel Fiffe, the Cuban–American comic book artist and writer, gets a mention, too.
