Star Trek Picard TV series made free by Patrick Stewart to cheer world (news).

The TV series Star Trek Picard, previously only available to paid subscribers of the CBS streaming service in the USA, and paid subscribers of Amazon Prime outside the USA, is now to be made available free to stream to the U.S. by Patrick Stewart and the bods over at CBS, looking to spread some cheer.

They are following fast on the heels of best-selling science fiction authors like Stephen Hunt who has made the first three books of his Sliding Void series free to download (see http://stephenhunt.net/shining-suns-and-free-books/), in a similar move to many other writers – the BSFA even have a list of free works now over at https://bsfa.co.uk/reaching-out-some-opportunities-to-read-watch-listen/
