Battlestar Galactica reboot: retrospective (audio chat).

In this rather long audio chat, the Man in the High Castle (aka Doom-something) travels to our shard of the multiverse to visit a poor slightly mad drunk Scotsman missing several vital organs – also known as the Critical Drinker – to chat about the glory that was the Battlestar Galactica reboot and its on-going influence over the modern science fiction TV genre.

Commissioned by the Sci-Fi Channel and co-funded by the UK’s Sky Television, screenwriter Ronald D. Moore was the show-runner of the Battlestar Galactica reboot. The pilot aired as a three-hour miniseries in December 2003, followed by four regular seasons, ending in 2009. The cast included the excellent Edward James Olmos, Mary McDonnell, Katee Sackhoff, Jamie Bamber, James Callis, Tricia Helfer, and Grace Park.
