Ad Astra (scifi movie trailer).
Ad Astra is an new near-future science fiction movie directed by James Gray with Brad Pitt, Tommy Lee Jones, Ruth Negga, Liv Tyler and Donald Sutherland acting in the film.
Plot-wise, it looks like some kind of disaster called ‘The Surge’ takes out Earth’s new surface-to-space beanstalk transporter, sending astronaut Brad Pitt off in search of his missing spaceman dad who is MIA after being involved in some dodgy recovered UFO tech research.
Something about the style of the flick puts me in mind of Interstellar – hope it turns out to be as intelligent as that one, too.
