The Wisdom Of Wonder Woman by Signe Bergstrom (book review).

Looking at the title, ‘The Wisdom Of Wonder Woman’, Signe Bergstrom has brought together dialogue from across the history of the most famous Amazon in comicbooks, touching on the TV series and recent film. Each alternative page has a piece of art from the comicbooks and you can play a game of spotting who drew or painted it. The same applies with the ‘wisdom’. At the back of the book, you have the sources so you also have a quick-checker. That’s just in case you think you can get through this book quickly.

For such a small book, it is a class act with full colour and gold-edged pages and golden bookmark. Whether you would treat Wonder Woman’s wisdom as something to emulate is up to you. In some respects, it is a fast read although I suspect it can also be used as a contemplative thing of doing one a day. Either that or just sit down and admire the art.

I promise Wonder Woman didn’t have me lassoed while I was writing this review. At least, I don’t remember her doing it to me.
