The plot picks up 10 years after the events of “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith,” in which Obi-Wan Kenobi suffered his greatest defeat—the demise and corruption of his closest friend and Jedi trainee, Anakin Skywalker, who became wicked Sith Lord Darth Vader.
Ewan McGregor reprises his role as the renowned Jedi Master, while Hayden Christensen reprises his role as Darth Vader in the new series. Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, and Benny Safdie are among the newcomers to the cast.
