In The Earth (horror movie reviewed by Mark Kermode).

Our man of many movies, Mark Kermode, is here to view the horror flick In The Earth – set in a world where a deadly virus has ravaged the world (yikes), and people are struggling to develop a cure or find ways to live with the virus.

Martin Lowery is a scientist sent to work on a cure in a remote UK-based forest lab far away from the troubles and violent breakdown of society, where he starts running into problems with a woodland spirit called Parnag Fegg.

Isn’t that just the way? You’re trying to save humanity and the fey powers don’t want you to succeed. The %$%^&ers!

Here’s a bonus interview with the film’s director, Ben Wheatley.
