Once upon a time, in a kingdom far, far away, there lived a beautiful and dutiful damsel named Princess Elodie, played by the stunning Millie Bobby Brown. She was soon to marry the charming Prince Henry, played by the handsome Nick Robinson. But, as it turns out, their happily ever after was a trap set by the royal family to repay an ancient debt. The sacrifice? You guessed it, Princess Elodie.

Thrown into a dark, dreary cave with a fire-breathing dragon, Elodie must rely on her wits and will to survive. But she’s not alone! She’s got a fantastic supporting cast including the regal Angela Bassett as Lady Bayford, the cunning Robin Wright as Queen Isabelle, the rough-around-the-edges Ray Winstone as the King, the mysterious Brooke Carter, and the captivating Shohreh Aghdashloo.

But this is not just any ordinary fantasy film, oh no! This flick was directed by the talented Juan Carlos Fresnadillo and produced by the dynamic duo, Joe Roth and Jeff Kirschenbaum. And let’s not forget the script written by Dan Mazeau, which promises to be both thrilling and hilarious.

Production for Damsel started shooting in February 2022 and lasted until July 1, 2022, in Tomar, Portugal, a picturesque location that’s sure to transport you to a magical kingdom.
