Spike Lee dips a toe into the Netflix pool with his new movie See You Yesterday, a science fiction time travel film which is, they say, “grounded in familial love, cultural divides and the universal urge to change the wrongs of the past.”

High school best friends and science geeks C.J. and Sebastian spend their spare time working on their genius inventions: backpacks that can allow their wearers to time jump.

However, when C.J.’s older brother, Calvin, dies after an encounter with police officers goes wrong, the duo decide to put their unfinished tech to use in a desperate bid to save poor old Calvin.

This one lands May 17th 2019 on Netflix.
