Ed and Jim are back to look at the classic Micronauts comic-book, based on those amazing toys from the days of yore. Illustrated by Michael Golden, this was a gorgeous piece of comic candy from the 1980s.
Marvel published two Micronauts series, mostly written by Bill Mantlo, until 1986, well after the toy line was cancelled in 1980.
The Micronauts toyline was based on and licensed from the Microman toyline created by Japanese-based toy company Takara in 1974, which is why they felt so original to use in the UK back in the day.
