Kaleidoscope: Netflix crime TV series (trailer).

Eric Garcia and Netflix have teamed together to produce a new crime thriller called Kaleidoscope.

The premiere of the eight-part series is scheduled for January 1st, 2023. As a rather interesting twist, viewers of Kaleidoscope are free to watch the episodes in whatever sequence they choose leading up to the series finale… hence the name. Clever!

Giancarlo Esposito, Rufus Sewell, Paz Vega, Tati Gabrielle, Peter Mark Kendall, Rosaline Elbay, and Jai Courtney all make appearances.

Kaleidoscope (formerly known as Jigsaw) spans 25 years and follows a group of expert thieves as they seek to open a seemingly impenetrable vault in search of the greatest payout in history. Every episode unveils a piece of a complex jigsaw of corruption, greed, revenge, plotting, loyalties, and betrayals, protected by the most formidable corporate security team in the world and with law enforcement on the case. How did the thief gang organise it? Who escapes punishment? Who is trustworthy?

Kaleidoscope is – very – loosely based on the true tale of how 70 billion dollars in bonds disappeared in midtown Manhattan during Hurricane Sandy. The episodes take place 24 years before the robbery and end six months afterwards.

It’s ok, they only rob bad people with mega-money.
