Doors (science fiction film: trailer).

Here is a new science-fiction film, Doors, which looks to be slightly more cerebral than the average alien invasion sci-fi fare. It stars Josh Peck and is set in our current time when millions of mysterious alien portals suddenly appear around the globe.

Humanity has to get its shit together and work out what all these little miniature Stargate things are doing popping up around the planet. Various strange X-file-like incidences crop up when the doors appear. So, do you call the FBI and let them handle it if one of these bad boys appears in your back garden? Or do you just go exploring?

The needs of the plot suggest the latter course of action.
