Buck Rogers is back (news).

Nobody go bidi-bidi-bidi, but the Buck Rogers franchise is back for another go at TV and movies thanks to the studio Legendary who seems to have picked up the rights to continue the adventures of the old-school comics/pulp serials and of course the Armageddon 2419 A.D book by Philip Francis Nowlan upon which it all launched (even the cheese-filled 1980s Buck Rogers in the 25th Century TV series with, be still my heart, Erin Gray as Colonel Wilma Deering).
