We might have to wait until Christmas 2021 for the Black Adam movie starring Dwayne Johnson as the revived Egyptian sorcerer superhero (originally a sparring partner fighting Captain Marvel), but that’s no reason we can’t appreciate some Jim Lee concept art of the Rock hovering as the titular and complicated good/bad guy.
DJ commented on Instagram, “Like most kids growing up, I dreamed about being a superhero. Black Adam is blessed by magic with the powers equal to Superman, but the difference is he doesn’t toe the mark or walk the line. He’s a rebellious, one of a kind superhero, who’ll always do what’s right for the people – but he does it his way.”
