Andy Serkis defects from Marvel to DC for new Batman film (movie news).
Robert Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne/Batman film (arriving from DC in the Summer of 2021) has found its butler Alfred, in the form of actor Andy Serkis – last seen faking a Sith Ifrican accent for the Black Panther film.
The news was confirmed by Matt Reeves, the flick’s director, on good old Twitter.
Oh, my precious!
The film – The Batman – will be the first reboot of the franchise since Christian Bale stepped down (we’re not counting the Affleck – or Batfleck, or whatever you want to call him).
