Totally Killer: solving murders and breaking the timeline (horror film).

Get ready for a wild ride through time, packed with thrills, chills, and more than a few laughs. The upcoming American comedy horror film “Totally Killer” is set to take viewers on an unprecedented journey. Directed by Nahnatchka Khan and featuring a screenplay by David Matalon, Sasha Perl-Raver, and Jen D’Angelo, the film boasts an ensemble cast led by Kiernan Shipka, Olivia Holt, Julie Bowen, and Randall Park.

The film is produced by Jason Blum under his renowned Blumhouse Television banner, and Adam Hendricks and Greg Gilreath through their Divide/Conquer label. “Totally Killer” will be released on Amazon Prime Video on October 6th, 2023.

The plot centers on Jamie, played by Kiernan Shipka, who experiences a time-bending tragedy when her mother is murdered by the Sweet Sixteen Killer on Halloween. To prevent the horrifying events, Jamie travels back in time to 1987. Here she must identify and stop the young would-be-killer while navigating the perils of the past. Her goal is to rewrite history and make it back to her own timeline before becoming a permanent resident of the 1980s.

Principal photography for “Totally Killer” took place from May 12 to June 23, 2022, in Vancouver, British Columbia, promising a visual spectacle that melds past and present, comedy and horror.

Whether you’re a fan of time-travel tales, slasher films, or dark comedies, “Totally Killer” offers a unique blend that promises to deliver. Don’t miss the chance to catch this rollercoaster of a film as it time-hops from Fantastic Fest to Amazon Prime Video this fall.
