Dark Tower movie (first trailer).

Here’s the first trailer for this year’s The Dark Tower movie, directed by Nikolaj Arcel, and, of course, based on the Stephen King novels of the same name. The film has Idris Elba as the gun slinger and Matthew McConaughey as the flick’s big bad.

Jake Chambers (child actor Tom Taylor) is a 11-year-old kid who dreams about a parallel dimension (Mid-World). He discovers a portal to Mid-World where he encounters a Gunslinger, Roland Deschain (Idris Elba), a knight-like figure on a quest to reach the Dark Tower and save the universe from extinction. But an evil sorcerer named Padick (Matthew McConaughey) aims to unleash hell and stop them.
