Artificial intelligence wants you to sing (news).

Peter Ranieri created the “These Lyrics Do Not Exist” website over at theselyricsdonotexist.com to show you how Artificial Intelligence wants to help you sing by generating original song lyrics from any provided words input into the system.

He tells us that he’s,

“Currently working on a new version of “These Lyrics Do Not Exist”; training a new neural network ≈17 times larger than used on this website. It will have greater cognitive and comprehension skills and understand approximately 10,000 different terms. Also, you will have the ability to choose the genre of the generated lyric from pop, rap, rock or heavy metal. As well as the lyric structure arrangement.”

Now, here’s a very sad country and western song the A.I. wrote for us about science fiction …

Verse 1
If you can, ignore the science fiction
Find someone else, get on with your own life, honey
I can float in sweet ecstasy
Nature plays upon time and science gets burned

Pre-Chorus
Try your words, how can I convince you
The promises we said, is it science fiction or reality now

Chorus
The lights are turning green before my eyes
Before I take a dip in the life science
Red, white and blue you with the clear eyes
A phoney science fiction God, fake is what you are

Verse 2
Her advice on science fiction is this
Son be not stupid son be so careful
The history books will never last past the page
When only science fiction sells and good will stay good

Pre-Chorus
Here, here is the creed we sign
Here, here is the science fiction of this new religion

Chorus
The lights are turning green before my eyes
Before I take a dip in the life science
Red, white and blue you with the clear eyes
A phoney science fiction God, fake is what you are

Bridge
Nothing was more complicated
Than science fiction and music

Chorus
The lights are turning green before my eyes
Before I take a dip in the life science
Red, white and blue you with the clear eyes
A phoney science fiction God, fake is what you are

Sing it again, Bender!
