We Have A Ghost (2023) : a film review by Mark R. Leeper

‘We Have a Ghost’ is a family-friendly horror-comedy with a PG-13 rating. This amusing tale revolves around a family that relocates to a house inhabited by a ghost, who is more lost than scary. The specter has no recollection of his past, is incapable of speaking, though can emit groans, and seemingly has no connection with the house itself.

Curiously, while the ghost can interact with the physical world, no one ever considers asking him to write down answers to questions that might unravel his mystery. Moreover, the ghost’s interaction with the physical world appears to be inconsistent, leading one character to query, ‘We can’t touch you, but you can touch us?’

The film premiered on Netflix’s streaming platform on February 24, 2023, and has been rated here as a modest +1 on a scale of -4 to +4, or 5/10.
