Snowpiercer… ice cold in scifi.

A new movie is coming our way… Snowpiercer – a science fiction epic based on Jacques Lob and Jean-Marc Rochette’s wonderful graphic novel Le Transperceneige, with such fine actors as Chris Evans, John Hurt, Tilda Swinton and Ed Harris. A failed global warming terraforming project has plunged the planet into a new ice age (hey – we’re long overdue one anyway, that’s why our current period is called an inter-glacial), and what is left of humanity is rolling around the world following the dwindling warmth on the last survival train.
