The Ad Astra staff is planning to publish at least two issues in 2013. Unlike the premiere issue, which had a theme designed to mesh with the Campbell Conference (http://www.sfcenter.ku.edu/campbell-conference.htm), future issues’ contents will be determined solely on the strength of the submissions received. Authors should also note that they have increased their word count limit for fiction to 15,000 words. Guidelines for fiction, poetry and scholarly works are available on the website. They are also soliciting multimedia works for the first time.

James Gunn’s Ad Astra is produced under the auspices of the Center for the Study of Science Fiction at the University of Kansas (http://www.sfcenter.ku.edu/).
