Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire TV series is a rather modern take on her gothic novel.
It tells the story of Louis de Pointe du Lac (Jacob Anderson), Lestat de Lioncourt (Sam Reid), and Claudia (Bailey Bass), as told to journalist Daniel Molloy by the three vampires (Eric Bogosian).
Louis can’t say no to the shady Lestat de Lioncourt’s offer of the best way to get away from being put upon in New Orleans in the early 1900s: becoming his vampire companion.
But Louis’s new powers are dangerous, and Lestat’s newest apprentice, the child vampire Claudia, sets them on a decades-long path of revenge and making things right.
