Hobbit movie score.

Here’s a segment from the soundtrack of the upcoming Hobbit film. Via the musical talents of Howard Shore, this piece is themed on the naturalistic woodland wizard Radagast the Brown. In the original Tolkien book, Radagast got something like a one-line mention. In the movies he’s been fleshed out into something a lot more substantial. You kind of have to when you’re stretching to three movies, I guess.

This piece put me in mind of the Harry Potter movies for some reason.
