Doctor Who’s season 23 downfall (TV series retrospective).

Doctor Who fans, rejoice! We’re taking a trip back to 1986 to relive the chaotic and captivating season 23, also known as “The Trial of a Time Lord.”

With reduced screen time, less violence, and more humor, what could go wrong? Oh, right. The death of a scriptwriter and the resignation of a script editor. And let’s not forget the ultimate blow: Colin Baker’s dismissal from the role of the Sixth Doctor.

But don’t worry, there’s plenty of drama to keep you on the edge of your seat. The Doctor is on trial for breaking laws of Gallifrey, including genocide (oops!), and a mysterious prosecutor named the Valeyard is determined to take him down. But wait, there’s more! The Master returns, witnesses are called, and the Matrix gets involved. Will the Doctor clear his name and save the High Council? Or will the Valeyard get his hands on the Doctor’s remaining regenerations?

It’s a wild ride, folks. So grab your sonic screwdriver and settle in for the ride of a lifetime. Just don’t blame us if you end up feeling like you’ve been put on trial yourself.
