Horror and dark fantasy

Horror comics have been banned, burned and investigated, which is the sort of CV most horror films would kill for. This section runs from the magazines that sidestepped the Comics Code in the 1960s, through the British writers who made DC's horror line grown-up, to the current boom in small-town terrors. Nearly everything here is for adults, and the content notes say so plainly.
