Carrie Fisher back as Princess Leia, for sure.

Palm Beach Illustrated is a glossy magazine created in 1952 which looks at “high fashion, fine dining, the social scene, exquisite interiors, culture and the arts.” It’s an unusual venue for actress Carrie Fisher to confirm she is definitely coming back as Princess Leia in the new Disney-fied Star Wars films. But it is so!

As well as confirming her appearance in the role she made her own all those years ago, she told the mag how she thought her character will develop and if she’ll still have the famous hairstyle…

Elderly. She’s in an intergalactic old folks’ home [laughs]. I just think she would be just like she was before, only slower and less inclined to be up for the big battle. The bagel buns and the bikini, because probably she has sundowners syndrome. At sundown, she thinks that she’s 20-something. And she puts it on and gets institutionalized.
