Firefly was cancelled after one season, and the film Serenity picked up the story some time later. This three-issue comic bridges the gap, explaining why Shepherd Book and Inara have left the ship and pitting the crew against old enemies, including the sinister men with blue gloves.
It is essential reading for Firefly fans, and it captures the humour and heart of the show better than most tie-ins. It was co-written by Whedon himself.
