The Equalizer (new cri-fi/spy-fy reboot for classic TV series: trailer).

The Equalizer TV series is getting another CBS reboot for a certain retired secret agent to start their own little side-gig into vigilante justice for victims let down by the official forces of law.

This one stars Queen Latifah as Robyn McCall, the grim narked-off agent of vengeance, and it looks rather good, as far as trailers go.

We do wish they’d bring back some nods to the original’s theme tune, though. You wouldn’t run Hawaii Five-0 in rebooted form without the classic original tune – and, nor did they!

The original TV series aired from 1985 to 1989, with a 2014 film and 2018 sequel which were fairly fine too, if you overlook their %^&%^&&* crappy opening music.
