Star Trek

Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (a Trek movie retrospective).

Here’s a 30-minute-long retrospective of the movie Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, or should that be Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khannnnnnnnn, given it’s launched a thousand memes, since?

This is the film where Roddenberry lost control of the direction after the wet floppage of Star Trek The Motion Picture, and the second attempt was given some plot steroids by a brave new team (and reintroduces fab actor Ricardo Montalban as genetically engineered tyrant Khan Noonien Singh), resulting in one of the better Trek flicks.

“To the last, I will grapple with thee… from Hell’s heart, I stab at thee…!”

Kirk versus Khan figures.
Take that, you genetically engineered freak!
