When Star Wars comics returned to Marvel in 2015, the first issue sold more than a million copies. It is set between A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back, with Luke, Han and Leia taking the fight to the Empire, and it captures the spirit of the original films better than almost any other Star Wars comic.
Cassaday's art gets the look of the characters just right, and Aaron's script is fast and funny. It is Star Wars comics done properly, and the easiest way into the modern era.
