You Should Have Left (horror film: trailer).
In horror flick You Should Have Left (based on the novel Measuring the World by Daniel Kehlmann), Kevin Bacon and Amanda Seyfried star as a couple seeking a restful vacation only to discover a strange and beautiful modern home which refuses to let them leave … ever! This sick puppy is directed by David Koepp and produced by Jason Blum (of The Purge and Halloween fame).
Theo Conroy (Bacon) is a middle-aged businessman whose marriage to his younger actress wife, Susanna (Seyfried) is shredding at the seams, frayed by her secretiveness, his jealousy, and a shadow from his past.
To repair their relationship, Theo and Susanna book a vacation at a remote modern home in the Welsh countryside for themselves and their six-year-old daughter, Ella (Avery Essex). What at first seems like a perfect retreat mutates into a horrific nightmare when Theo’s grasp on reality unravels … but, he suspects that a sinister force within the house knows more than he or Susanna have revealed, even to each other.
