White House Down… the first cop/prez buddy movie?
Roland Emmerich of Independence Day fame brings us an action thriller called White House Down, in which militias take on the US Federal government in Washington DC in a kind of Lethal Weapon cop buddy movie where one of the buds happens to be the US President. Lots of explosions, as you’d expect from the Emmerich-meister.
