Chrissy Newton at The Debrief joins Fade to Black to talk about the media’s coverage of UFO/UAPs and the researchers pushing for disclosure.
Producer David C. Beaty, a former broadcast journalist, UAP scholar, and filmmaker, speaks with the UCR team. His non-fiction broadcast and documentary career spans over 25 years. National broadcasts on the Travel Channel, History Channel, and PBS, as well as the viral UFO documentary video “The Nimitz Encounters,” are among his career highlights. Through his FOIA investigation and multiple conversations with navy vets about UAP intrusions into military training locations, he broke the storey of the July 2019 Navy mystery drones.
The Black Manta, or TR3B, the flying triangle, has been the subject of discussion for years. Many witnesses have seen and taken footage of a triangular object that ‘does not exist’, according to government reports. Researchers are intrigued by the possibility of using a revolving mercury plasma, a superfluid anti-gravity engine, or something else.
Richard talks about these and other issues with filmmaker Darcy Weir and aviation expert Jim Goodall. Darcy just released the film Secret Space UFOs: The Rise of the TR3B.

Inconsistent messaging, contradictory claims, and odd denials have poured out of the Pentagon’s Office of Public Affairs, the vast majority of the time with no supporting evidence. This included what looked to be a long-held denial that the “UFO research project” that everyone was briefed about was anything but. The Pentagon denied for more than a year that the AATIP, or Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program, had anything to do with UFOs.
