World getting weirder

U.S. Navy reports buzz-attack by swarms of hypersonic Tic-Tac UAVs (weird news).

More reports have surfaced about a recent 2019 buzz-attack on US Navy forces by a swarm of Tic-Tac-shaped UAV craft which were able to move at hypersonic velocities seemingly without any thrust-based propulsion method such as jets, rockets, propellers, scramjets, SABREs, or contrails, etc (e.g. presumably using field-manipulation tech).

Let’s hope they are a secret American prototype being field-tested against their own side, rather than a Chinese/Russian tech – or, indeed, being flown by something more, shall we say, … esoteric?

  • Esoteric doesn’t fly anything, engineering does.
