The Young and Prodigious Spivet… Jean-Pierre Jeunet cuts loose again.

Ah, Jean-Pierre Jeunet – the brains behind Amélie, Micmacs and The City of Lost Children, comes to us with a fine new movie. In The Young and Prodigious Spivet, a 12-year-old genius runs away from his family ranch in Montana where he lives with his cowboy father and scientist mother and travels across the USA on board a freight train to receive an award at the Smithsonian Institute for his secret science work. This offering stars Helena Bonham Carter, Judy Davis, Callum Keith Rennie, Kyle Catlett, Niamh Wilson, Jakob Davies, Rick Mercer and Dominique Pinon.
