The Pope’s Exorcist (horror movie: trailer).

In a shocking turn of events, it has been revealed that Russell Crowe’s upcoming film The Pope’s Exorcist is based on true events. The film follows the story of Father Gabriele Amorth, the Chief Exorcist of the Vatican, as he investigates a young boy’s terrifying possession and uncovers a centuries-old conspiracy that the Vatican has tried to keep hidden.

Sources close to the production team have revealed that during filming in Ireland last year, strange and unexplainable occurrences began to happen on set. Lights flickered, objects moved on their own, and some crew members reported feeling a presence around them. Initially, the cast and crew laughed it off as a coincidence, but as filming progressed, things started to take a more sinister turn.

Russell Crowe, who plays Father Gabriele Amorth, reportedly became increasingly obsessed with the role, spending hours studying the real-life exorcist’s memoirs and speaking to experts in the field. Some have even speculated that Crowe himself may have become possessed by the demon featured in the film.

Despite the eerie happenings on set, the production team pushed on and finished filming. Director Julius Avery and producer Doug Belgrad of 2.0 Entertainment have refused to comment on the rumors, only stating that they are excited to share the film with audiences when it is released on April 14, 2023, by Sony Pictures Releasing.

In the meantime, fans of the horror genre and supernatural enthusiasts alike are eagerly awaiting the release of The Pope’s Exorcist, which promises to be a terrifying and spine-chilling addition to the horror movie canon.
